Assignments

 The assignment I am most intrigued by is the storybook project. I find it very interesting because it allows us to use our creative writing skills as we tell the reader a new story. I also like how it gives us the freedom to design our story and the aesthetic of the storybook pages. Another thing that excites me about this class is that it is so much different than any other class. First of all, no tests. I love that we do not have tests but we are still able to learn so much. Another thing that makes this class different is that we make blog posts like this one. I am used to a discussion board on canvas, but never have I used blog posts to express my thoughts. Lastly, all of the extra credit options capture my attention because it is extra credit. I strive to do the best I possibly can in any class and extra credit is a great way to do that.

  My name is Robbie Johnson. I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma and am a senior here at OU. All my life I have been a huge fan of sports. I played almost every sport when I was younger such as football, baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming, tennis, and track. My favorites are definitely football and basketball. As I grew older, I cut the sports down to just football and basketball because I did not have enough time for that many extracurriculars. Week 6 story: House of Fire

 House of Fire I was born under unfortunate circumstances. My father was a king, but my mother was a slave. You can rightfully assume that I was not planned or wanted. However, when this happens in royalty, it causes problems.  My father, the King, also had another child that is supposed to be the true heir to the throne. This child is the one he had with the queen before he cheated on her with my mother. The child's name is Joe. Joe has always been better than me in every way. Everyone loves him and he is good at everything he does. Joe is also loved by his parents and my father makes it clear to us both that Joe is the favorite. Of course this hurts me to hear, but after all of these years I am used to it.  One day, Joe was competing in a competition as he usually does.
